Minuteman Senior Services is an Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) serving Arlington, Massachusetts and surrounding communities. ASAPs operate under a state contract to coordinate and deliver a wide range of services to senior citizens in their regions.
 
Meals on Wheels

For seniors who live alone and cannot prepare food for themselves, Meals on Wheels can be a godsend. Friendly volunteers deliver meals and often can provide some social stimulation in an otherwise lonely day. Recipients must be at least 60 years old. Services can be for a short period, such as recovery from surgery, or for an indefinite period. Meals are federally subsidized under the Older Americans Act.
