The Cambridge Senior Center offers a Breakfast and Lunch meal program with requested donations of $1.25 and $1.50. Both meals offer a choice of either hot or cold items. The Food Service Manager and food service staff prepare and serve each meal on-site daily. The Cambridge Citywide Senior Center is open for Breakfast and Lunch seven (7) day a week including all holidays. |

For seniors who live alone and cannot prepare food for themselves, Meals on Wheels can be a godsend. Friendly volunteers deliver meals and often can provide some social stimulation in an otherwise lonely day. Recipients must be at least 60 years old. Services can be for a short period, such as recovery from surgery, or for an indefinite period. Meals are federally subsidized under the Older Americans Act. |
