Riders must call 617-796-1288 to reserve all trips and must submit a voucher, available at the Senior Center. Reservations should be made 3 business days in advance. |

The Alzheimer's Association has a wealth of resources for families facing Alzheimer's disease - information, support groups, local medical resources, news, and events. They provide a great of funding for Alzheimer's research and sponsor many fund-raising events across the country. |

Springwell is an Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) serving Newton, Massachusetts and surrounding communities. ASAPs operate under a state contract to coordinate and deliver a wide range of services to senior citizens in their regions. |

For seniors who live alone and cannot prepare food for themselves, Meals on Wheels can be a godsend. Friendly volunteers deliver meals and often can provide some social stimulation in an otherwise lonely day. Recipients must be at least 60 years old. Services can be for a short period, such as recovery from surgery, or for an indefinite period. Meals are federally subsidized under the Older Americans Act. Springwell's Meals on Wheels coverage area is Belmont, Brookline, Newton, Watertown, Wellesley, and Weston. |
