The Alzheimer's Association has a wealth of resources for families facing Alzheimer's disease - information, support groups, local medical resources, news, and events. They provide a great of funding for Alzheimer's research and sponsor many fund-raising events across the country. |

Baypath Elder Services is an Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) serving Wayland, Massachusetts and surrounding communities. ASAPs operate under a state contract to coordinate and deliver a wide range of services to senior citizens in their regions. |

For seniors who live alone and cannot prepare food for themselves, Meals on Wheels can be a godsend. Friendly volunteers deliver meals and often can provide some social stimulation in an otherwise lonely day. Recipients must be at least 60 years old. Services can be for a short period, such as recovery from surgery, or for an indefinite period. Meals are federally subsidized under the Older Americans Act. |
